Hello everyone. I’m currently working on a big project, so I decided to post a piece that has special memories associated with it. In 2014 there was a competition on the stopgame website.ru on the game Thief 2014. According to the terms of the competition, you had to draw an arrow for the game. And, since I didn’t know how to draw and I don’t know how, I decided to assemble a model of an arrow from scrap material.
All sorts of mechanisms, pneumatic cartridges and other parts were used.
Plus a story was https://lejackpotcasino.co.uk/login/ written along with these photos:
"Arrow of the Mechanist Order"
History: Following the advent of the prophesied age of metal and the complete disappearance of the Mechanist sect, many of the artifacts of this sect were stolen, possibly by the dominant orders. I had a chance to see and examine one of these artifacts. This artifact is very similar to an ordinary arrow, which was used by archers at all times. But the main difference between this arrow and all others is the mechanical tip, or better yet, not a tip, but a whole independent mechanism. What is he like?. On the main body, which consists of brass, two containers are connected to two trigger mechanisms, which are very similar to wings. Remembering where this arrow was obtained from, I would not be surprised if these containers are filled with “rusty gas”. In my opinion, these “wings” are needed to stabilize the arrow in flight, since the weight of the artifact is very large and it simply needs additional strength. The mechanism also includes a rotating flywheel, and what is most surprising, which we can see in a simple pendulum clock. It seems to me that it served not only to stabilize the arrow in flight, but also increased its penetrating ability. At the end of the boom there is a mechanical release, from which, when triggered, an impulse is transmitted to the “wings” and opens the containers. This whole system of transmitting impulses using gears is balanced like a clock, a clock that can kill. It remains unclear how and whether the containers are refilled. Unfortunately, I consider it impossible to describe this artifact further, since yesterday, after my return home, the arrow, like other valuables, was stolen. But I will continue to search and study the artifacts of this strange and mysterious sect, a sect ruled by the no less mysterious and enigmatic leader Karras..

After some time, I thought about disassembling this work, but Daur Avidzba and a couple of other people dissuaded me from doing this, so it was decided to make a case for this work with the symbol of the Order of Mechanists.
