As promised, albeit with a significant delay, a requiem awaits you… Requiem for a world where there are no people and no death. All the gods died in the fateful hour and only a few doomed themselves to the curse that is called immortality. But you are not them, you are Dolls. You are just a piece of dead flesh, endowed with personality and intelligence, exclusively for one thing – to suffer under the yoke of the one who is doomed by immortality and wants to drown out the ringing of madness, with the howling of the “hearts” of fragile dolls. I welcome you all to a world where there is no death and not even a tiny hope… for hope. Well, if you haven’t realized yet, there’s a lot of evil, cruelty, and dismemberment here.

Volume One – "Welcome to Brave New World"

Termination, expiration, cancellation, human race… Expectation, liberation, population laid to waste.

But it all started with what could be called a breakthrough – an unusual type of mold was discovered in Canada, which, in theory, could emulate the functioning of the human nervous system. Further, with the help of bioengineering, the first underad and a special bio-computer were created. Anded could not have intelligence, only basic instincts, but in return they acquired a kind of “immortality” – they do not need to eat or drink, and only the complete destruction of the body guarantees that the dead person will cease to function. Bio-computers made it possible to realize the recording of a person’s memories and personality, as well as its further transfer into the body of a dead person, but in the end, all this became a doomsday weapon. At the time of the game, only 1% of humanity remained alive, and all the rest are mutants and dead people who somehow survived the climate, biological and nuclear war. It’s cute isn’t it? But don’t worry, the fate of the Dolls is no less beautiful than the fate of this world.

You see… Although necromancers https://goodwincasino.co.uk/ are immortal, they are still people, which means their minds can easily fade away. Days, months, years of loneliness are like water – washing away darkness from hidden drains and raising it to the surface, turning the mind into a viscous stinking swamp. At first, the Savants, the first Dolls who deified the Necromancer, managed to maintain their sanity. But it was boring, not interesting, but I wanted something sharper. As a result, the Necromancers came up with a kind of “game” – the Necromancer creates a certain number of Dolls, with their own character and memories, and leaves them in a certain area. And then he just watches as a group of them try to survive in this world and preserve their shaky sanity, and maybe you can even free yourself from the Necromancer’s shackles or even kill him. It all depends on how agile the Players (Dolls) are and how scary the GM (Necromancer) is.

Volume Two – “Sad but true”

Darkness imprisoning me! All that I see — Absolute horror… I cannot live. I cannot die. Trapped in myself, Body my holding cell!

Now you know about your purpose, you know about your destiny, you know one simple truth – you are just a piece of flesh, with threads above your head. And it is with these threads that the creation of your Doll begins. First come Fragments of those memories that you had during life, and then comes Premonition – a vague feeling of what may be revealed about your life, for better or for worse. Next comes Treasure, because you mostly look like young girls, and girls like trinkets. In fact, the Treasure helps you not to go crazy, reminding you of something bright while there is only decay and stench around, but not only they help you to be who you are. A shackle is a person or thing that you care about and that helps you preserve pieces of your personality while keeping the madness inside you. You may have several shackles, since you do not wake up alone in this world: the same lost Dolls, like you, wake up with you and survive in this hostile world, to the delight of the Necromancer.

And then, you must choose who you will be among your partners: Alice is a symbol of a better world, the most humane of the Dolls; Automaton – you accepted the cruelty of this world and decided to close yourself off from it with an impenetrable wall, solely in order to protect what is dear to you; Court – you are cold because only the absence of emotions allows you to think rationally; Holik – you are the force that madly desires for yourself, but is forced to protect the desires of others; Junk – you have already lost what was dear to you… and you were so sick of it that you found the strength not to repeat your mistakes; Sorority – you are a leader, you are a torch, and you are ready to OVERCOME for those you have sworn to protect. Well, the most important thing is the choice of how to destroy the aggressive form of the undead. You can choose either a full-fledged class or something from a subclass, but the choice there is excellent – from mutating yourself into incredible garbage and devouring other dead people, to using psychic abilities and tanking with your arms torn off. And having finished choosing your limbs and your weapon, you go into the world of darkness.

Volume Three – "Wrong Side of Heaven"

I will destroy your dreams… I will destroy your mind… I will destroy your soul… And then I’ll take your life.

Sometimes, very sometimes, circumstances allow you, Dolls, to be at peace. Explore a dead neighborhood or just communicate with your “sisters”, everything can have its own checks. The general formula is 1d10 +or- modifiers. Anything above 5-6 is a success, and anything below is a failure, also a critical success (11 and above) and a critical failure (1 and below). The latter means that the part of the body you are using may be broken – yes, if you get a glitch in your mental abilities, your brain is broken. You can strengthen and re-roll the throw, but such actions can lead to irreversible consequences. And the worst of them is Madness Points. Each time you reroll or fight, you receive these points and distribute them into shackles of your choice, and if the shackles are full, then you must apply the effect of Madness, which will hinder those around you. The worst option is when all the shackles of all Dolls are full – then Game Over occurs. But nothing compares to a fight.

You and your opponents are placed on a pre-prepared map, each in their own cell. Next, the goal of Victory and additional conditions are determined, also known as Karma, which can be completed for additional “Blessing” points. Next, the order is determined using a simple method “whoever has the most action points is first” and the first turn of the battle begins, in which everyone uses maneuvers until their action points drop to zero. Everything is simple, but in battle there are many subtleties and variety of opponents – some are weak and overwhelming in numbers, while others are Savants themselves, who are like Dolls. The main thing in any combat encounter in this system is to complete the combat mission as quickly as possible in order to leave the battle with at least some grains of sanity. Also, teamwork is very important, since, for example, Sorority’s skills are built on not acting alone. And now, it’s time to draw some conclusions.

This is a world where there is no death… A world where the dead have filled the planet, and the remnants of humanity play gods in order to preserve their pieces of reason. Despite the fact that the moral component of the board was banned somewhere at the stage of creation, it’s strange, but it’s exciting… It’s like a more violent version of Madoka Magic, only with a bias towards complete guro and the total darkness of what is happening. Players, if they are ready for this, will be given a real, psychological tragicomedy about cute zombie girls who are trying to survive in the harsh world of the apocalypse, both physically and psychologically. The main thing, as in any tabletop RPG, is to find a good Master for this game.
